To realize our ambitions in the IKEA Supply Strategy, IKEA has recognized the need to improve and modernize our work methods. We are upgrading our current Procurement Platforms to enable Procurement processes for all of IKEA. This new position is a great opportunity to take a leading role in the Ivalua Procurement platforms, which support our direct and indirect procurement operations.
We are looking for a Platform Manager with an accountability for the Ivalua Direct and Indirect Procurement Platforms. You will lead the technology development and operations for the IKEA platform and its surrounding applications that support the Ikea business within the Supply Procurement Business Unit.
You will build, lead and develop the Platform team, which is part of the Supply Data & technology department. You will also lead the evolution of the technology landscape that support our IKEA Supply transformation ambitions, identifying and establishing the relevant technologies and operate the necessary platforms.
More specifically, in this role you will be:
Accountable for the IKEA Ivalua Procurement Platforms’ technical development, integration, infrastructure, and operations, including overall solution designs and platform roadmap, leading towards uniformity and commonality across Inter IKEA.
Lead all aspects of delivery throughout their lifecycle, including performance, financials, continuous improvement, and adherence to Agile Ways of working supported by the new digital product and platform organizational set-up.
Create, manage, and maintain technology development and life cycle plans in alignment with the targeted technology landscape, ensuring high availability and reliability through effective test- and release management.
Steer and manage strategic relations with suppliers and partner closely with service providers, IT functions, and various stakeholders to prioritize assignments (OKRs), monitor performance, support, and resource utilization.
Ensure the Ivalua platforms comply with data security, privacy regulations, industry standards, and regulatory requirements, generating regular performance reports using metrics and KPIs for senior management and stakeholders.
Develop and manage the budget for the Ivalua platforms, ensuring efficient allocation of resources and driving the team's adoption of DevOps to shorten development life cycles and deliver high-quality outputs.
Lead by example, empowering co-workers to perform and grow according to agreed goals, supporting both current and future needs, and playing a lead role in co-creating, refining, and promoting IKEA’s position, standards, and frameworks for technology services.

Job Description
We are now looking for a Digital Product Area Manager.
As a Digital Product Area Manager, you will be responsible for leading the development and implementation of digital products for a specified product area, in a way that supports horizontal movements across IKEA, ensuring that the whole digital product area has relevant and user-friendly digital products.
You are responsible for developing our digital capabilities and supporting both running business and future needs. You recruit, lead, coach, and develop the Digital Product Leaders, and Solution Owners, ensure a developing culture and supportive atmosphere making the IKEA Values living reality.
You enable that the digital product area has a flexible set-up to support business growth quickly responding changing and new trends.
You will also be responsible for cooperation with our business partners in a specific business area. You will be part of the Capability Procurement Group, which will create and implement the future procurement image at IKEA Supply. You will be a direct partner of the Business Owner Level 3 in a specific area of responsibility.
In this role you will report to the Supply Chain Development Area Manager in your assigned area Procurement Development, you will be permanent member of the Development Area management team and work closely with stakeholders across Inter IKEA as well as IKEA partners.
Qualifications
For the role of a Digital Product Area Manager, your main capabilities, knowledge, and skills are:
Extensive knowledge within the specified Digital Product Area
at least 3 years of experience in leading co-workers.
Solid experience as a leader in the business or in design of mainly digital products and you have a proven track record of successful digital products you were part of creating.
Knowledgeable in agile principles and ways of working with eg UX, digital product strategy, digital product visions and data-driven decision making.
Strong ability to communicate and act as a communication bridge between diverse business and digital competencies.
Strong capability to visualize concepts and ideas to build understanding and agreement on the way forward.
Ability to lead, coach, inspire and empower teams to be optimized for the desired outcomes.
Ability to build strong relations with peers and stakeholders, comfortable with complex prioritization and situations, and cross-functional leadership.
Good knowledge about the IKEA strategies, processes, and the digital landscape
understanding both, “the big picture” and the details, being able to transform the “big picture” into a vision and roadmap of the digital product area, its structural knowledge and learnings, and is able to clearly communicate the way forward.

Supplier capability development is a strategic effort to create a robust, reliable, and competitive supply base that can support our business objectives both now and in the future. The role as Engineering Manager is crucially important in leading and driving supplier capability development, securing the long-term business sustainability and success. This position operates on a strategic level for our suppliers’ capability development, where you will also contribute to our internal capability build up, with extra focus on our engineers’ group.
Additionally, you will:
Advance the Design for Manufacturing (including virtual prototyping) practices across our supplier base, enabling more efficient, cost-effective, and quality-driven manufacturing processes and better products.
Advance the capability and support from Development suppliers in the context of DNP and product documentation (CAD)
Leading upskill of enhanced process control at our suppliers to deliver long-term benefits to the supply chain's reliability and performance, directly contributing to better end-customer satisfaction.
Be a catalyst for accelerating automation using network of initiatives coupled with automation development capabilities in our Industry group.
Enhance the traceability and data quality by adopting GS1 standards across our supplier base. Ensuring that all suppliers are uniformly integrated within our system, leading to improved inventory management, traceability, and compliance.
Together with Range, lead the implementation of Product Lifecycle management at our suppliers.
Leadership in managing material resources within the organization.
Understand the challenges associated with effective material management including upskill of needed capabilities within the field, such as properties, appearances, and requirements.

Som områdeschef på Samhall ansvarar du för medarbetare, kundrelationer samt drift och daglig styrning vilket innebär ett omväxlande, spännande och operativt arbete. 


Du har ett tydligt ansvar för att utveckla dina medarbetare och att matcha rätt medarbetare till rätt uppdrag. Du utvecklar arbetsgrupper och arbetar med att coacha dina medarbetare mot nya jobb utanför Samhall vilket är ett av dina viktigaste mål. I coachningen ingår att motivera, ta företagskontakter för rekryteringssamarbeten och skapa förutsättningar för utveckling genom arbete och utbildning. 


I kundansvaret förväntas du utveckla samarbetet med både befintliga och nya kunder. Beroende på uppdragens karaktär och storlek ansvarar du som områdeschef antingen för ett eller flera uppdrag. Du arbetar i team med andra för att bidra till distriktets måluppfyllelse och lönsamhet samtidigt som du arbetar mot individuella mål och budget.
