As an Archivist at IKEA Museum, you will have a fantastic opportunity to work in a role with a broad scope and personal responsibility. Together with our current Archivist, you will develop routines and working methods, review the conditions for E-archive and digitalization. In a proactive way, you will ensure that the archive services are adapted to changes that take place in the organization or systems used. Tasks such as arranging, listing, receiving and delivering archival material, making confidentiality assessments and more, are also included. Today we are using the archive system “Visual Arkiv”.

Qualifications
Equipped with University degree, specialized diploma in information management, information security, archival science, librarianship, or an equivalent qualification.
Knowledge of archival and preservation needs of a variety of materials, including paper documents and materials, photographs, audio-visuals, and digital born assets.
Minimum of 6 years of experience in archival work and management, including experience in file and document organization and management, electronic databases and documents, and database management.
Minimum of 2 years digital asset management experience or comparable databases, including asset ingest, export, and metadata creation.

We expect that you have:
Several years of experience working as an Archivist.
Experience of working with both physical and digital archives.
Experience in developing routines and policies for information management.
Experience of project management within archives.
Good IT skills, such as working in Visual Arkiv.

Job Description
As Activity Leader you are a key player in turning our business strategy into actions. You do so by leading the overall activity planning across IKEA Älmhult AB with structure and process, yet, with an eye for creativity. You are responsible for our activity planning process and are also a key stakeholder in identified main projects. In close collaboration with relevant functions and stakeholders, you secure content and activities follow the creative concepts and plans, and facilitate a smooth process to meet business and marketing objectives. You are a great communicator and know how to bring people along. You build strong and trustworthy relationships with partners, agencies, suppliers and colleagues.
On behalf of IKEA Älmhult AB your responsibilities will include:
· Lead and implement the activity calendar across our businesses, securing marketing & business objectives.
· Lead the overall process with structure, clarity, and transparent communication.
· Be a stakeholder in and/or responsible for identified main projects.
· Support the business with marketing competence.
· Secure consistency and alignment of plans in the marketing team and other functions with the aim to maximize our impact and improve ways of working.
· Secure content and communication follows creative concepts, IKEA tone-of-voice guidelines and visual identities.
· Brief and set up collaborations with creatives and suppliers.
· Develop and build close collaborations with creators, agencies, and suppliers.
· Lead parts of the marketing budget planning and follow up.
· Act as a role model leading by example and promoting the IKEA Culture & Values.
Qualifications
As our Activity Leader, you possess relevant background and experience from marketing, and preferably events. You are familiar with the creative process and project management, and, have attention to detail. You have knowledge and understanding of the communication value chain, from strategy and plan to content production and meeting the customer. You come with strong leadership and collaborative skills and are curious to drive change and make things better together with others. You have an entrepreneurial and problem-solving attitude.
· University degree in marketing & communication or similar.
· Senior experience from marketing and event marketing, e.g. from senior role in agency or marketing department.
· Experience from leading planning processes and creative processes.
· Skilled in media and event productions.
· Updated on trends and development in the channel and media landscape.
· Understanding of the museum and destination industries is a plus.
· Fluent in English, both spoken and written. Preferably good knowledge in Swedish.

This position is a full-time, on site assignment, located in Älmhult, Sweden and you will report to the Archive & Collection Manager at IKEA Museum.
