We are looking for a Technical Communication Specialist for Range Area Seating and it´s a temporary position for 11 months. Start 1st of February 2026.
In the role of Technical Communication Specialist, you are detail oriented and bring structure into your tasks. With an eye for details, you make sure that everything is in place. You work to make the buying process of our range as easy and smooth as possible for our customers, ensuring that they have the information they need to make a purchase decision. This can include communication on packaging, legal communication and technical communication like measurements, care instructions, installation etc.
Your main responsibilities include analyzing and identifying the technical communication need, based on customer needs and legal requirements. We also want you to work a lot with the details and like to do administrative tasks. To secure customer perspective in technical communication throughout the product development process and to work closely with the Sales specialist and the Communicator to ensure a strong commercial perspective in product development. You will create and follow-up technical communication content, working closely with Range & Product Engineering.
You brief and lead communication production suppliers to secure content readiness and contribute to the annual Commercial plan with a technical communication perspective, as well as impact on budget.
We are looking for someone with a passion for technical communication! You are guided by structure and simplicity, and you strive to exceed customer expectations by delivering high quality communication. You can turn complex technical information into customer friendly communication.
You enjoy working in an ever-changing, fast-paced environment even when it includes complex assignments or tight deadlines. You are a person who is structured and likes to work with details and is not afraid of routine work from time to time. You enjoy taking initiatives and leading the development of communication content with a customer perspective and can juggle competing priorities.
You are detail oriented and bring structure into your tasks. You have excellent communication skills securing the IKEA tone of voice and can network across functions and organizations.
This is a temporary position, start 1st of February 2026 based in Älmhult, Sweden. At IKEA of Sweden we have a strong sense in meeting each other and work together. Job Description


As a Project and publishing support you’ll play an important part in the team. Your primary focus will be:
Support project teams with a wide range of internal operations & administrative tasks, ensuring projects are set up for success from beginning to end.
Interact with a width of IKEA information systems/tools to source, edit, upload and/or update high-quality data/assets from/to projects as needed.
Build and deliver content in the IKEA provided Content Management Systems (CMS).
Distribute and communicate our global content deliveries to agreed IKEA partners & stakeholders.
Bring user expertise, interacting with a width of IKEA support & information systems, to manage high-quality data/product assets from/to projects as needed.
Able to quickly learn and navigate the different systems & tools

Qualifications


The role as a Project and publishing support requires you to have:
Basic knowledge and understanding for SEO
Knowledge in Adobe programs
Knowledge in Content management systems
UX design studies/working experiences and /or interest
Basic knowledge in HTML and CSS
Knowledge in accessibility
Fluent in English language both written and spoken.

It’s a plus if you are also:
Communicative and have some experiences in stakeholder dialogue.
Resourceful, solution-oriented, and quickly adapt to meet the changing project needs, conditions, and time frames.

In this role, you will:
Coordinate day to day actions with many teams and stakeholders to plan assignment and execute tasks as required,
Participate in meetings with assignors, a follow up on the scope of each sales start,
Ensure that all incoming orders contain the complete relevant information and components before start of production by collecting product information, analyzing the brief,
Secure samples and 3D models,
Coordinate the planning of production,
Communicate deviations in scope, time-plan and quality to relevant stakeholder,
Coordinate communication related to asset production between assignor and production team,
Secure quality assurance of the final product communication assets according to briefs, concepts and guidelines,
Contribute to optimization of the production flow for product communication assets,
Stay up to date with process flows, relevant communication guidelines and business steering documents within Product Communication & IMC in general,
Build and maintain good relations and cooperate closely with assignor and production team.

Job Description
As Communication Business Partner you will be a strategic and tactical partner to the business and the Category Area, securing communication strategies and implementation of business driven communication. In close cooperation with Category Area Management you will be responsible for developing the communication plan for the Category Area as well as to coach and support members of the Management team regarding matters of communication. A big part of your assignment is to lead, develop, implement and support a variety of internal and external communication projects. Qualifications

projektform. Det är meriterande om du har relevant eftergymnasial utbildning samt
erfarenhet av projektledning, inköpsarbete och produktframtagningprocess.

Right now we are setting up an Competence Allocation function to support the Assignments in IKEA Communications, and we are looking for Competence Allocation Specialists.   

The Competence Allocation team is a new function to support the IKEA Communications assignments and projects with efficient ways of making conscious choices of internal and external competences into high performing versatile teams, delivering to all project needs and expectations.

As Competence Allocation Specialist you will be responsible for ensuring assignments are setup for success by securing the allocation of the right competence at the right time and cost in the different stages of the communication development process.

Examples of responsibilities in this role could be:
In close collaboration with assignment areas you define and set clear expectations on the level of competence expertise required to meet and deliver to assignment demands. 
 
Together with your colleagues coordinate the planning of internal/external capabilities across all assignment and competence areas. You are also enabling the necessary dialogues to build and maintain an up-to-date competence base for efficient competence allocation.
 
Handle all day-to-day competence allocation activities of existing and incoming assignments in an efficient and timely matter, prioritising as needed.
 
Prepare regular analysis and reports of competence availability, potential instances of underutilization, billable hours, capacity forecast and competence gaps for ongoing/upcoming assignments.
 
Explore and evaluate multiple team set-up alternatives from the competence base, identifying the best possible team constellations to meet the competence needs of incoming assignments. Visa mindre
