You belong to People & Culture Centre of Expertise that provides a wide scope of services to the 15 different legal entities at Inter IKEA in Sweden. The assignment is to secure a seamless co-worker experience in areas such as Labor Law, Compensation & Benefits, Payroll, Mobility, Work environment and Co-worker relations.
Centre of Expertise and this position is based in Supply Area North which is a part of IKEA Supply and is responsible for different business units across the IKEA value chain. The role of IKEA Supply is to supply the IKEA range at the lowest total cost, making high quality available to the customer under good social and environmental conditions.

About the assignment
As a People & Culture Specialist within Labour law, you support People & Culture colleagues in all Inter IKEA Group (IIG) SE legal entities when it comes to Swedish labour law, our 5 collective agreements as well as IKEA's internal policies and requirements. You will also be the one representing IIG externally towards trade unions and other forums. Our collective agreements at Inter IKEA are: Handelns tjänstemannaavtal, Lager- och e-handelsavtalet, Visita-HRF, Träindustriavtalet tjänstemän and Träindustriavtalet.
Your main responsibilities will be to:
Support Inter IKEA Group (IIG) Sweden companies to comply with both external (Swedish labour law collective agreements) and internal policies and requirement including interpretations. We aim for alignment, knowledge sharing and competence development for all IIG companies in Sweden.
Secure up-to-date information, guidelines and templates (forms).
Guidance and advice in labour law matters including interpretations
Hold trainings, develop and secure content, availability and quality of trainings within the area
Coordinate information and consultations (MBL) with trade unions on Inter IKEA Group Sweden level where possible
Lead and coordinate the monthly Inter IKEA Group Sweden Labour Law network with representatives from all legal entities.
Knowledge sharing, including updates regarding new legislation related to labour law, in the Labour Law network.
Be the Inter IKEA Group Sweden representative in the ”delegation” for the Swedish Trade Federation (Svensk Handel) and the “Salaried Employees Collective Agreement” (Handelns tjänstemannaavtal)
Responsibility for establishing MD contracts related to appointment of a new MD within IIG companies in Sweden.
Collaborate with external networks (outside IKEA) to get a broad understanding

Job Description
Organisationally you are part of the Intellectual Property team at IKEA at the Innovation Support department and your focus area will be to handle and support work around the growing IKEA patent and design protection portfolios. You will be a central role of the IP team at IKEA.
· An important part of the job is to handle design registration cases, from start – identifying the products to be protected - to end when the protection is filed (the actual filing is handled by external partners).
· You work in close collaboration with the business areas, the legal counsels and the IP team.
· It’s important that you find it exciting and are energized by working in a team with complementing competencies.
· Evaluation and implementation of a new system for handling patent and design registration information and documentation.
· Internal communication and creating awareness of patents and design rights, administration and cost control of patent and design portfolios and other related projects.
Qualifications

· You have experience from working with IP in-house or at a law firm.
· You have an understanding of Intellectual Property, especially patents and design rights, and how it influences the business environment.

· We would also like to see that you have a keen interest in home furnishing.
