Are you being our new Requirement Specialist? Come and join our fantastic team!

You will be a development partner to IKEA product development functions within selected product ranges.
You will be a part of new developments as well as maintain and improve existing ranges and steer new product development towards selected standard and shared solutions. You will investigate, document, and communicate to development teams all relevant product related requirements, standards, and regulations.

Support development teams during product development by providing guidance on how to fulfil product requirements. You will participate in validation of prototypes in our projects as well as lead/participate in risk assessments. 

Furthermore, you will proactively identify and communicate product requirements, standards, and regulations. Translate laws and regulations into technical requirements and identify applicable standards and regulations to the business team during the product development process and providing guidance on how to fulfil product standards and regulations.

You will also capture country/market regulations and translate them into technical requirements during the New Country Assessment (NCA) process driven by the Expansion Leader. Support the product development teams in interpreting and implementing product related requirements. For this purpose, calibrate regularly internally and with Requirement Development team in Range and Supply about Specifications used at IKEA Components.

Then you will receive all updated/new Specifications and after they are approved and forward them to Range and Engineering Development teams. Facilitate trainings for Range and Engineering Development regarding new product and/or market requirements and new/updated Specifications and develop and maintain a network or internal and external compliance expert.

Finally, you will be the spokesperson for IKEA Components when it comes to communicate with Range and Supply and CBF regarding requirements and specifications.

To succeed in this role, we wish that you are/you have:

•    Fluent in English, both written and spoken.
•    Knowledge of IKEA concept, strategies, and IKEA processes.
•    Very good knowledge of IKEA requirements, standards, and test methods or other international requirements, test methods and standards. 
•    Good knowledge of the requirement process, including requirement management.
Experience from risk assessment/risk management
•    Experience from legal/regulatory work and product requirement/compliance in an international environment.
•    Live and share the IKEA values.
•    University degree or work experience in engineering or other relevant area.

•    are responsible for continuously improving the supplier's production processes (reduction in scrap rate, defects, efficiency gains, OEE etc)
•    perform product audits and production risk assessments 
•    lead the running range towards the suppliers and secure the supply chain is robust with an effective quality management system, right quality and full compliance to IKEA requirements at all time
