The Project Operations team supports the overall communication development process at IMC, bringing strong competence in project management, production frameworks and supporting tools to the different projects and communication development phases, with end-to-end accountability and seamless delivery of communication content through established IKEA platforms & channels.
As Production Leader you will:
Plan, and lead the creation and production of communication content for IMC, taking end-to-end responsibility of the Creation-, Production- and delivery-phases, as required by the project/assignment brief, using the most relevant and effective production methods available.
Put together and lead a high performing team, creating preconditions that enable inclusion of perspectives, competence, togetherness and a healthy and safe environment.
Onboard all members of the production team, securing clarity in process, defined milestones, expected results, ways of working, roles and responsibilities.
Evaluate which production method is best suited for the project and plan accordingly, aiming for efficiencies and productivity at lowest cost and highest quality throughout the process.
Plan and secure resources, location and budget; keeping track of all budgeting, invoicing, purchasing, contracts and related documentation throughout production.
Manage external assets when needed, such as creation- and production companies, models and/or locations, incl. legal requirements.
Act on any key issues or risks that may affect stakeholder agreements (cost, quality or time), maintaining a continuous dialogue of the project status, changing prerequisites, deviations and end-result expectations.
Secure the delivery of the communication assets within agreed time and budget frames on the defined platforms and channels.



To be successful in this role, you need:
Experience in planning and executing production of brand, product and/or range communication.
Experience in successfully managing and executing multiple streams of production flows and processes,
Experience working with modern communication production methods and omnichannel platforms (within 2D/3D images, product pictures & films, or similar).
Experience leading creative individuals & multicultural teams; directing, motivating, guiding, and managing people to work better together and deliver to production goals.
Able to bring focus during production peaks, managing priorities in changing conditions, expectations and timeframes.
Able to secure budget, cost control & cost reduction throughout the process, achieving lower costs and higher production efficiency.
Passionate about producing brand and product communication, understanding the needs of the consumers and a general interest in home furnishing.

Project Operations at IKEA Marketing & Communication supports projects with format-independent competences leading, managing, facilitating and supporting tailor-made creative teams. We provide leadership in the different phases of ideation, creation, and development of communication. Our aim is to continuously improve and simplify the overall communication development process from end-to-end. With seamless handovers and excellence in planning and securing quality, time and cost with strong competence in project management, tools and frameworks

We're now looking for Production Leaders with extensive experience within Marketing & Communication. . 
As Production Leader you wil:
 Lead the team in creation from planning/adaptation to delivery and ensure capacity and competence availability for the planning/adaptation phase, with focus on finding most efficient ways of working. 
Take responsibility for production related tasks connected to planning, budgeting, invoicing, purchasing, documentation, allocation of competences and updating key performance indicators. 
Allocate and secure the on-boarding of team with clarity in process, ways of working, roles and responsibility. 
In collaboration with Producer assess content production complexity and production methods.  
Create preconditions that enables inclusion of perspectives and competencies, co-worker engagement, team spirit and togetherness. 
Act as a role model in regards to IKEA Culture, Values and Code of conduct.
