Danfoss Power Solutions is looking for a Software Test Engineer to strengthen our System Development Tools team. We work with developing a set of tools (PLUS+1 Tools) to support our customers in creating and maintaining control software for their machines. We are dedicated team of 15 developers and testers working close together in an international organization with customers all over the world.

Our office is in Älmhult, Sweden but we also offer hybrid working models’ option to work from home.

Job Responsibilities
As our new Software Test Engineer, you will support the development with developing and performing system level (or E2E) tests. Your areas of responsibility will be to:

Contribute to the overall quality of our tools
Participate in design reviews, FMEAs and Safety Analysis and Hazard and Risk Assessments
Develop and perform system (or E2E) tests
Develop integration tests


Final tasks and responsibilities can be tailored according to the chosen candidates experience, potential and interest.
Background & Skills
For you to rock this position, we expect you to have some experience in software test practices, processes and design. You hold Master’s or Bachelor's degree in Software Engineering, Computer Science, Electrical Engineering or equivalent technical field. It is essential that your English language skills are fluent.
To get up to speed, you are familiar with C, C++, C#, Delphi, Java. It’s also beneficial to have Embedded Software knowledge.

Job Responsibilities

Responsibilities for this position include, but are not limited to, the following:

Manage and develop sales at our customers in the off-highway vehicle and automotive industry in Sweden.
Identify and drive new business opportunities – bringing value to our customers via smarter and energy efficient products and systems.
Maintain and strengthen relationships with our customers acting as the primary sales representative for Danfoss Power Solutions.
Facilitate customer requests and projects – defining actions and deliverables aligned and together with sales- and business unit teams.
Comprehend and discuss technical and commercial aspects – based on in-depth understanding of the customer’s applications, strategy and needs.

Background & Skills

In order to be successful, we expect you to possess a diploma/master’s degree in hydraulic, mechanical or electrical engineering or an equivalent level of working experience in the mechanical, hydraulic or the electronic industry. Additionally, we are looking for:

3-5 years sales/system sales experience, in the hydraulics-, mechatronics- and/or electro mobility industry;
A proven track record as Account Management with successful sales development skills and experience;
Ability to communicate and actively build networks within and outside Danfoss Power Solutions;
A pro-active and self-driven attitude and ability to manage and collaborate in a cross-border environment;
Fluent English in writing and speech
Willingness to travel within the country and abroad if needed

Danfoss Power Solutions is looking for an Application Software Team Leader. The Application Software team is part of a global team responsible for integrating Danfoss’ hydraulic and electronic components into complete control systems. Our mission is to design, develop, and support solutions in the agriculture, construction and material handling off-highway mobile markets. Position is in Älmhult, Sweden. This position requires some travelling.


As our new Application Software Team Lead a significant part of your mission will be to ensure that we meet our customers’ needs and set priorities to maintain market position above competitors. You will manage and coordinate initiatives, processes and performance and you will have the responsibility of planning releases in line with test and the other development teams. You need to ensure that the Application Software function, the team and its´ performance, systems and procedures, meets the needs of the business and in doing so, understands and meets the requirements and concerns of our customers. As a leader, you will lead and encourage creative discussions regarding possible innovative solutions in the component or product development project teams. You will also contribute to all phases of development including requirement capturing, specification development, design, software development and validation/verification.


To be successful in this position, you have Bachelor or Master’s degree within Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or similar. You have effective project management skills with proven ability to implement change, engaging others in the organization as necessary. We expect you to have minimum a few years of customer experience, and preferably previous team lead experience. You are fluent in C/C++ and exposure to graphical programming languages. You can communicate effortlessly in Swedish and in English. It is an asset if you have worked in a global company and participated in international negotiations.
