We’re looking for a 3D Technical Developer who wants to solve complex, real-world problems to make life at home simpler.
You will be a part of a team who design and maintain 3D pipelines and tools to enhance content creators in their everyday quest for excellent and efficient 3D communication. What we’d like you to bring to the table
We are in search of driven and diverse talent with a passion for 3D innovation. As a key player on our technical development team, you’ll immerse yourself in a collaborative scrum environment. Your role will involve dynamic coding for both new initiatives and ongoing projects, engaging fully in agile ceremonies, and delivering impactful technical solutions, all aligned with sprint deadlines. For this role, we are looking for an engineer with a deep technical foundation – someone who is skilled at building robust and scalable systems and tools.
The role as a 3D Technical Developer requires you to have:
Deep understanding of backend systems infrastructure
Experience and demonstrated skills in C++ and Python
Familiarity with cloud technology, preferably Azure
Ability to build scalable, maintainable services that support creative and production workflows
Experience with Digital Content Creation (DCC) tools and workflows.
Examples of DCC’s that are meritorious to have experience with: Blender, Unity, Unreal Engine, Autodesk 3Ds max, Autodesk Maya, Houdini etc.
Strong understanding of the technical and creative aspects of working with 3D environments
Ability to navigate and contribute to complex 3D pipelines.
Tendency to express ideas, support others in time of need and not brood over failure
Ability to adapt quickly to changes and happy to take on a challenge
Experience collaborating closely with stakeholders such as product owners, 3D artists, and more.
A deep understanding of IKEA's core values and cultural principles as well as a mindset and way of working that reflects this

Key Responsibilities
Design and implement core backend architecture for AgentVerse: services, registries, cognitive modules, and orchestrators.
Define runtime orchestration for AI agents lifecycles, roles, and communication bridges (Redis, RabbitMQ, WebSockets).
Build high-performance services with async FastAPI, DI modules, and event-driven data flows.
Develop front-to-back integration for Agent Operations UI: connecting React/Next.js interfaces to backend endpoints and WebSocket streams.
Collaborate with AI engineers, product designers, and creative directors to deliver tools blending enterprise reliability with LLM-driven creativity.

Qualifications


Qualification
5+ years in software development, 3+ in backend-focused full-stack roles.
Strong in Python async services (FastAPI, aio* or similar).
Solid grasp of data modeling, messaging, and containerized microservices.
Familiar with modern frontend (Next.js + TypeScript) and state management.
Experience with distributed/event-driven systems (queues, pub/sub, caching).
Advocate for clean, modular, maintainable code.
Bonus: AI/LLM integration (OpenAI, LangChain, semantic search).
Enterprise practices: testing, observability, deployment strategies.


Nice-to-Haves
Hands-on with LLM systems, prompt pipelines, orchestration frameworks.
Knowledge of DI containers, plugin architectures, dynamic registries.

As Solution Architect within Capability Area Logistics and Fulfillment, you will be part of a digital product team where Agile principles lay as a foundation for how we do our development. We develop our business through processes, data, people and technology. All these aspects need to be considered in an End-to-End context where you protect the integrity of the digital product from an architectural aspect.
You will work with digital products within Customs area but belonging to a Competence Development Hub.

The assignment will include:
Responsible for detailing IT functional and non-functional requirements for given business requirements in the business solution delivery process, incl. support with clarifying business requirements.
Secure that IT solutions fulfil the agreed functional and non-functional business requirements.

Experience:
Minimum 7+ years of experience in IT, with at least 3 years focused on Microsoft Power Platform and UiPath platforms.
Proven leadership in deploying automation solutions with a focus on UiPath and Power Platform, though experience with AI-driven automation solutions is also valuable.
Technical Skills:
Proficiency in UiPath (RPA, Document Understanding, Test Automation) and Microsoft Power Platform (Power Apps, Power Automate).
Strong expertise in automation technologies, particularly in Conversational Automation (Chatbots) and Test Automation, with a principal focus on cognitive automation technologies.
Expertise in software development life cycle phases including design, configuration, testing, debugging, and implementation.
Experience working with programming languages (C# preferred), Python and a good understanding of development concepts and supporting tools such as Git, Visual Studio, Jira, and working with REST APIs.
Experience with Azure cloud is a plus.
Qualifications:

As a Software Engineering Leader, you will:

Qualifications:
To be successful in this role, we expect you have:
Proven experience in a senior or lead software engineering role.

Experience with cloud platforms (e.g., Azure, AWS), containerization tools (e.g., Docker), and development frameworks.
Familiarity with technologies such as Terraform, OpenAPI, JavaScript frameworks, and C++. Openness to learning these tools is key.
