Job Description
Supply Analytics Management has the assignment to create value and enable business growth by bringing data from across IKEA together to gather actionable insights. We work closely with our business stakeholders and form product teams that deliver cutting edge; data driven solutions for our coworkers.
We work in a modern cloud-based Azure environment, and you will be a part of the engineering team of approximately 25, continuously developing our data products and analytical capabilities. You will be regularly involved in workshops with coworkers to harness modern data infrastructure efficiently and provide long term solutions. Supporting a complex organisation to realise the benefits that modern data engineering can bring is at the heart of the role.
As a?Data Engineer at IKEA, you will play a key role in designing, building, and maintaining our data infrastructure to support business intelligence, analytics, and decision-making processes.
Your responsibilities will include:
Design, implement and maintain robust ETL/ELT pipelines, integrating diverse data sources (databases, APIs, real-time streams) into enterprise-grade data lakes to support analytical and operational use cases.
Collaborate with data scientists, analysts, product teams, architects, and engineers to understand data needs and deliver end-to-end solutions.
Integrate data from a wide variety of internal and external sources into cloud-based data platforms.
Design & implement best practices for data engineering, including data quality, version control, testing, monitoring, and documentation.
Optimise data workflows for performance, reliability, and cost-efficiency across batch and real-time processing pipelines.

Stay current with emerging technologies and practices in data engineering and apply them where they create business value.

Job Description
As Data Steward – Sustainability (Climate), your responsibility is to safeguard and maintain metadata related to the IKEA climate footprint for the IKEA value chain and its parts – ensuring it is in line to meet internal and external reporting requirements. You will facilitate the continual development of the climate data quality across IKEA. Furthermore, you will act as an ambassador for information management and be connected to the information management area of expertise in the IKEA digital function.

We are looking for 2 Solution Architects for the IKEA Product Information Management team.

The Solution Architect is one of the key roles of the Product Master Data Management Team. As Solution Architect you will lead the architectural design of our Product Master Data Management solutions. You will ensure the User Experience is consistent across the implementation and will guide this area in practice. You will guide the low level design and govern the implementation keeping the user experience in the center. You will be able to work together with business and technology. You are senior in your experience and have a proven track record of your assignments. The responsibilities in your role include

The assignment
Responsible for detailing IT functional and non-functional requirements for given business requirements in the business solution delivery process and project management (support with clarifying business requirements if needed).
Secure that IT solutions fulfil the agreed functional and non-functional business requirements as well as user experience needs
Secure, develop and review high-level design. Approve low-level design of the implementation of a business transformation with an IT component in order to support running business, provide guidance towards service improvements and service transition.
Govern that the design of the solutions conforms to the solution architecture and is efficient, meet business requirements, user experience needs and is based on a holistic architecture.
Is responsible for securing the architecture vision and goals in the solution architecture and the system development process.
In a close dialog with stakeholders create and shape business and IT-related ideas into current state, future state and transition states to guide the detailed design and delivery of business solutions.
In close collaboration with IT architects lead solution activities within the domain, establish solution/infrastructure design in accordance to the architecture and provide technology advice.
