What challenges do we offer?
You will be involved in ensuring all relevant information and components before and during 3D production, including participating in meetings with clients, conducting product and sample analyses, working with proper delivery expectations, production methods, project files, and final approvals of 3D production.

Arbetsbeskrivning
I rollen som Product Communication Coordinator kommer du vara med i uppstartsmöten med uppdragsgivare och därefter koordinera hela processen fram till färdig bild eller film. Din roll kommer bland annat också vara att säkerställa att all nödvändig produktinformation finns inför varje uppstartsprocess och bidra till en tydlig och genomtänkt produktionsplanering. We are looking for a senior 3D Artist with broad experience and passion for animation, ready to shape the future of our visual communication. You will take on the responsibility of ensuring high-quality CG animations and will closely collaborate with a cross-functional team to create animations that inspire and authentically reflect IKEA’s brand and values.
This role requires strong indirect leadership skills with both artistic insight and technical knowledge. You will guide the 3DA team from creation to final delivery and elevate our team and animations to new heights.


What you will do
Develop and maintain the overall animation style, look, feel and visual direction in close collaboration with Creative Directors and Art Directors.
Be the role model and provide coaching and mentoring to 3D artists on ongoing projects in understanding the creative goals and raising both the technical and creative standards.
Contribute to developing animation knowledge across the project team, including Art Directors, Interior Designers, and Production Leaders.
Bridge technical expertise with artistic skills, guiding the team to balance these elements for top-tier animations.
Build strong relationships within project teams and facilitate smooth collaboration across the production workflow.
Provide clear direction and feedback on animation quality, movement, timing etc.
Review work in progress and final shots to ensure they meet the projects standards.
Support Production Leaders to meet schedules and milestones.
Contribute to that the CG pipeline is efficient and optimized.



What you bring
5+ years of experience, with at least 2 years either as a Senior 3D Artist or Animation Supervisor/ Director with a track record in high-end animation projects
Deep knowledge of animation principles and expertise in keyframe animation in both 2D and 3D. You are also experienced with simulations and know how to use these techniques to elevate productions to the next level.
Solid understanding of the CG animation pipeline, including VFX techniques and workflows
Proficiency in 3ds Max, Cinema 4D, or Maya, with additional knowledge in Vray, Adobe Creative Suite, and Davinci Resolve
A passion for exploring new techniques, tools and technologies that enhance storytelling and animation quality
Strong team player with the ability to work cross functionally and adapt to feedback in a fast-paced environment.
Pedagogical skills, with an ability to coach and mentor in CG animation.
Exceptional attention to detail and a structured, self-managing approach
Fluency in English, both written and spoken
An interest in home furnishing

Dina arbetsuppgifter
Som Technical/VFX Artist hos IGT kommer din primära arbetsuppgift vara att skapa och utveckla specialeffekter IGT:s olika slottspel.

Som medarbetare kommer du ingå i olika utvecklingsprojekt där du tillsammans med kollegor både utformar nya samt vidareutvecklar befintliga spel för olika länder inom Europa. I Växjö sitter 47 kollegor som du arbetar nära dagligen och som Technical/VFX Artist kommer du rapportera direkt till ansvarig Manager i Växjö.
På IGT kommer du arbeta i ett framgångsrikt och energifullt team, samtidigt som du kommer få utveckla idéer på egen hand.

Din profil
För tjänsten som Technical/VFX Artist söker i dig som har goda kunskaper inom Specialeffekter, partikelsystem och animering. På IGT kommer du arbeta mycket i olika projekt och därför är det även viktigt att du som söker trivs i en sådan yrkesroll.

Som person är du söker kreativ, engagerad och initiativtagande. Du drivs av att ständigt hitta nya lösningar och tycker arbetet är extra roligt när du får utmanas i din yrkesroll och bidra med dina programmeringskunskaper. Som kollega har du god samarbetsförmåga och förstår vikten att genom kommunikation hitta rätt i varje enskilt projekt. Hos IGT är koncernspråket engelska och du kommer ha kollegor över hela världen. För att vara aktuell för rollen har du som söker:
Goda kunskaper inom Unity med focus på: specialeffekter, partikelsystem och animator.

The Digital Lab is part of IMC and drives the digital innovation work in the spatial computing area for all IKEA companies. The Digital Lab is right now looking for a Research Engineer with knowledge within Spatial Computing / XR Development.
In this position you will use your technical expertise to explore, evaluate and transfer innovation insights.
You are someone with an innovative mind and lateral thinking. Someone who thinks virtual worlds are cool but helping real people is even better. You know why robots and pie go well together and why point clouds on a sunny day do not matter at all.
Your main responsibilities will be to:
Explore and evaluate new technology and its possibility to improve IKEA customer and co-worker experience

We’re looking for a person who can break down high-level concepts like these and explore them singlehandedly or as part of team.
You´ll need to have many of these skills:
Extensive background in real-time 3D graphics with deep Interest in the future of Real Time Graphics (VR/MR/AR). Understanding of graphics pipelines related to real-time 3D environments. Passion for how sound and audio design and haptics can be used to elevate immersive experiences
Extensive experience with Unreal and/or Unity and/or native IOS/Android 3D development. Experience with mobile application development and deployment
Deep programming skills building applications communicating with back-ends and building applications of interactive worlds using game engines. Good knowledge of at least 2 different core programming languages such as C#, Python, C++ or JavaScript
Extensive background setting up full stack for applications from ground up.
Good understanding of Cloud based computing and storage solutions (AWS, Azure, GCP etc.)
Ability to formulate new ideas surrounding technological innovations. Ability to discuss problems with program code examples.

* Du kommer vara med och säkerställa all relevant information och alla komponenter före och under 3D-produktion, detta genom att bland annat delta på möte med uppdragsgivare, göra produkt- och provanalyser, tidsplaner, arbeta med rätt förväntningar på leveranser, produktionsmetoder, projektfiler och slutgiltiga godkännanden av 3D produktionen.
* Du kommer leda och samordna åtgärder med ditt team och beställare för att planera uppdrag, säkra resurser (både interna och från leverantörer) och genomföra uppgifter som krävs för projektet. Du kommer säkerställa nära samarbete och upprätthålla bra professionella relationer.
* Du kommer tillsammans med ditt team ansvara för alla administrativa uppgifter i samband med beställningar, så som inköp och administration av resurser, inklusive 3D-modellarkivet och uppdateringen av nyckeltal.
* Du kommer se till att alla 3D-produkttioner produceras enligt servicenivåavtalet, enligt internt uppsatta riktlinjer, ramverk och teknisk pipeline; samtidigt som du också utmanar sätten att arbeta för att förbättra arbetsflöden.

We are looking for someone who wants to create visually compelling and creative textures for 3D models, ensuring consistency in quality and that end media productions stay as close to the real articles of the product range as possible.

Job description:

* Produce digital and/or 3D content, ranging from scanning and photographing real-life materials to creating and rendering textures and shaders for use in the different products created in 3D, staying true to product specifications.
* Develop and make available all documentation regarding how to apply/use material in 3D models and minimize incorrect or inaccurate product representations.
* Provide advice to the 3D production team with choosing the right material, where patterns may need to be very precise or appear flawed/natural depending on material/product.
* Participate actively throughout the whole production to ensure the quality of the materials/textures used in 3D models according to the internal set guidelines, frame work and technical pipeline; while still also challenging the optimization or adaptation of improved workflows.
* Analyze and challenge constantly the right balance between quality, time and cost during the daily production work and in alignment with assignment requirements.
* Keep up-to-date with new 3D processing techniques, trends, technologies and technical developments that can be adopted early to increase the efficiency in 3D-production.

Your knowledge:

* Education or experience with 3D graphics, textures and product development, visualisation or equivalent.

The Assignment Development Team will help lead the Product Communication development agenda with a customer-centric mind-set and the aim of strengthening the IKEA brand with a positive impact of the business, always ready for the needs of tomorrow.

As a 3D Artist you will be responsible for securing a lean and effective production of high quality photo realistic 3D Images and films. Job description:

As a 3D generelist, you will produce high quality images of products, room settings and environments, both still and motion. You will participate actively in the discussion regarding the production methods, ways of working and communicative direction, based on technical pre-requisites and brief. Fine-tune the scene, prop, set the light and adjust image composition in cooperation with Interior Designer to meet the brief. You will analyse and challenge constantly the right balance between quality, time and cost during the daily work and keep up-to-date with new 3D, animation and image processing techniques and trends, and adopt early.

As a 3D generalist, you will also perform basic editing and retouching when needed, such as cropping, color correction and other specialized effects. The job includes compiling and storing all images and scenes in accordance to the set guidelines, frame work and technical pipeline.

Who are we looking for?

We believe that you have:

* Education and/or experience in creating photorealistic CGI.
* At least 3 years of working experience using 3ds Max or Maya
* Experience in working with rendering and using rendering tools such as VRay, Octane, Redshift, Corona, Fstorm or Arnold
* Experience in using Windows, Mac OS, Raw converters and Photoshop,
* It is a merit if you have experience from Zbrush and Marvelous Designer.
* Experience in mixed production methods, green screen, motion media, animation and virtual reality.
* Experience in image composition, cropping, angle and lighting.
* Basic understanding of architecture and home furnishing and how this influences images.
* Basic knowledge in different media formats, e.g. print and web processes.
* Fluent in English, both written and spoken.
