University education or equivalent combination of relevant training and work experience within the areas of design, strategy, social sciences, psychology or similar
Extensive relevant experience in the area of insight, ideally 5-7 years of relevant experience
Relevant experience working with IKEA home furnishing businesses

Job Description
As a Purchasing Business Analyst, you will report to a BDM & supporting several business teams. This is a great way to broaden your network and knowledge of our business landscape. For various reporting purposes secure a consistent foundation, gather, process, compile and analyze data linking to Logistics, Engineering and Supplier Development to enabling fact-based decision making, preparing/visualization the different source of data, showing the history, trends, benchmarking, connection between different data
Supporting the creation/execution/follow up of APL, SDP, PDP, BCPs, RFQs or other processes.
identify relevant data sources, verify data accuracy, source missing information and organize data in usable formats to support analysis and fact-based decision making
Support and guide the teams in addressing business issues or opportunities through data-analysis

Three BA in Category Area Food in the Plant based and Protein based categories
Two BA in Category Area Wood in the Foil on Board and Pigment on Board category

The absolute most important competence in this role is to be curious & have great analytic capabilities. You are able to process large amounts of data, draw conclusions and make fact-based recommendations for the business team members to act on. You see the value, and find motivation, in enabling fact-based decision making through data and facts. Communication is key in this assignment. Both to communicate data in a simple, insightful and inspiring way as well as enable your colleagues to take action. Your collaboration interface will be big so stakeholder management will be very important!
We also believe that you have:
A solid background from one of the core business team roles
Deep understanding in Purchase Development processes, ways of working and KPI landscape.
Comprehensive understanding of roles and responsibilities in the Business Team.
Good knowledge of Sales planning, Supply planning, Capacity planning and interdependencies.
Excellent knowledge and experience of tools/applications such as, Excel ISOT, QS PowerBi etc..
Desire to develop the business capabilities, identify business opportunities, find better ways and enable change.


In this role you will work with business processes from both purchasing, logistics & engineering. We believe that you are extra strong in one of these three. The function IMC Intelligence are new and in the role as IMC Intelligence Leader you will take part of shaping it. Together with the M&C intelligence team, you will be responsible for leading the market research and data analytics function in IKEA Marketing and Communication and in close cooperation with all development units in IKEA Core business Range and IKEA Core Business Supply, securing consumer centricity and that business decisions are taken on profound business and consumer knowledge, based on actionable and accessible user insights
Job Description
You will identify and define what Marketing & Communication data, facts (information) and insights lay the foundation for strategic and business planning as well as tactical and operational business integration. You will combine new and existing knowledge about people, life at home, market context, business strategies, and IKEA brand performance and you will follow up and ensure all research & insights relevant to brand communication decisions are properly used and fully optimized to support the business and the creative approach. You make insight actionable by identifying, finding gaps and priorities that leads to growth opportunities.
One the one hand the assignment is to enable better business decisions by securing a holistic and consumer centric insight base but your assignment will also include:
Clarifying the main issues and challenges that the marketing & communication is supposed to overcome and propose a compelling approach and plan.
Leading the work of strengthening creative briefs with insights and strategic thinking, to ensure the work is on-brief.
Participating in and/or leading research projects within the intelligence area.

You will lead the intelligence area on in close collaboration with the business and stakeholders across the IKEA Network and you will facilitate creative briefings, brainstorming sessions and workshops to help develop creative actions. This will require both extensive leadership experience and strong facilitation- and interpersonal skills but also in-depth knowledge of using insight products, methods and tools to help the business make better decisions.
Qualifications
To be successful in this role we believe that you are passionate about working with data, insights and knowledge. You have a great interest in what makes a business, a brand and a product perform through connecting a huge amount of different information and data points, as well as what makes people act and think the way they do. You have a growth mind-set, you are curious to explore and eager to learn and you have the ability to inspire and influence creation.
