We are looking for a Systems Engineer that would like to enable Digital IKEA with better and more cost-efficient storage and data protection solutions for the many people.
In Storage and Data Protection team we are working with the core IT infrastructure that supports IKEA services and co-workers with state-of-the-art storage and data protection solutions. We operate on a global basis throughout 5 datac-enters and many distributed sites.
What you'll have:
We need you to have good experience within enterprise infrastructure related to data protection and/or storage technology. You have experience of close collaboration with consumers and taking business requirements from concept to a complete product for the consumers. IKEA Digital is an enabled agile organization

It's essential that you have broad knowledge in the following areas
Agile work methodology and supporting tools like Jira
Common knowledge within different storage technologies such as block, file, object storage & SAN
Storage and data protection related monitoring and reporting tool
Knowledge of fundamentals within?Linux CLI and?scripting languages

In addition to this it would be of great value if you’ve been working with automation, playbooks, API, GIT repository or equivalent.
Your responsibilities
You will be working physically and/or virtually in fully empowered and agile teams. Together with the Service Manager, Engineering Managers, Senior System Engineer and System Engineer you will create, maintain, and promote the roadmap, ensure optimized service offering based on the latest technologies and drive a competitive advantage for our consumers.
Be a leader and apply and adhere to the digital engineering best practices with an agile development approach.
Be the technical resource in your area of responsibility and support current and future business within Digital IKEA.
Deliver infrastructure through automation and with self-service capabilities for efficiency, availability, and usability.
Do continuous improvements and innovation within this area.
Participate in the implementation of new technologies and infrastructure projects.

The team is a versatile technical group of 9 people with a lot of experience, located over the whole globe within the area of storage and data protection. We provide resilient storage and data protection solutions for customers, retail, warehouses and coworkers. The team works very closely with other teams in the service area such as compute, facility, and automation teams.

ABOUT THE POSITION
We are now looking for License Specialist to join the Purchasing Development business where our client focus on collaboration with their suppliers of all products and services. They are in a build-up phase so for you who thrive in a position where less is already decided and where you will have the opportunity to influence both what they do and how they will do it this is a great opportunity for you.

As a License Specialist your assignment is to learn how to secure, manage and optimize software licensing agreements as well as ensure compliance and cost-effectiveness. You will learn how to act as a specialist in software licencing, providing guidance and support to internal stakeholders. On top of this you will develop relationships with software partners and system owners to drive change. 

More specifically, you can expect to: 

Develop partnership with internal stakeholders?–?engage and collaborate with?internal stakeholders on tactical and strategical tasks to add value.
Provide consultancy to internal stakeholders for license management and deliver high quality services.  
Drive Continuous improvement - Use your passion for collaboration and knowledge sharing of methodologies, tools and materials across the organization.
Monitor and analyse the data for cost-saving opportunities, optimal license utilization, and recommendations for risk mitigation.

Education and interest in coordinating, managing, and optimizing software licensing agreements & compliance.  




Knowledge of licensing models across the vendors for entitlements and reconciliation activities. 




A good understanding of the application lifecycle process flow and licence models and metrics .




The courage to question existing solutions and think in unconventional ways. 




Great communication skills & empathy to coordinate within your network. You are comfortable in presenting and engaging with people in different business constellations. 




Ability to act upon a fast paced changing and demanding environment.

About the job
In your role, you are responsible for development, maintenance and providing support to the Swedish IKEA companies in your area. While your main responsibility is development, maintenance and support of current RPA solutions, you will also be involved in many other projects.
Development of Robotic Process Automation (RPA) solutions, support and maintenance of the solutions.
Delivery of business intelligence (BI) and insights from payroll system to end users.
Database management.
Qlik Sense project development, data visualisation and delivery of insights.
General continuous process development internally within the team and function.
Internal support in matters connected to IT and BI.
Within these areas, it is in the role of driving, developing the process and representing the Swedish organization in cooperation with IKEA's global HR and IT organizations. To your help, you have HRSC employees for the various sub-areas.
