About the role
As a Business Controller, you will play a key role in supporting our project-based operations through financial analysis and reporting. You will work closely with senior managers and project managers to ensure financial transparency and efficiency across all areas. Your main responsibilities will include:
Following up on budgets, forecasts, and profitability

Dina arbetsuppgifter
Syftet med rollen är att aktivt utföra affärsstyrningen av de fyra affärsområdena inom SONSAB. Detta inkluderar finansiell kontroll och planering för att möta företagets mål avseende tillväxt, kassaflöde och lönsamhet. För att gemensamt med affärsområdena nå SONSABs mål kommer rollen vara drivande i ett flertal initiativ och projekt för att öka effektiviteten och skapa lönsam tillväxt både lokalt och över affärsområdena.
Dina huvudsakliga arbetsuppgifter som Group Controller inkluderar:
Ta fram beslutsunderlag för att stötta viktiga affärsbeslut och förse VD med värdefulla finansiella insikter.
Driva den finansiella processutvecklingen och digitaliseringen för att leverera den förväntade lönsamma tillväxten för SONSAB.
Utveckla och följa upp relevanta KPI:er.
Leda den årliga budgetprocessen och skapa prognoser till ledningen.
Stödja de lokala affärsområdescheferna med beslut relaterade till ekonomisk påverkan, ekonomisk planering och lönsamhet.
Stötta verksamheten i arbetet med kapitalbindning i lager.
Delta i Due Diligence-processer.
Du kommer att rapportera direkt till VD i din roll som Group Controller. Resor förekommer i tjänsten för att besöka SONSABs olika enheter runt om i Sverige.

Din profil
Vi söker dig som är redo att ta dig an en utmanande och utvecklande roll. Du har en gedigen erfarenhet av redovisningsanalys och controlling samt har starka ledaregenskaper. Som sökande ser vi att du har en civilekonomutbildning eller motsvarande erfarenhet. Vidare har du tidigare erfarenhet av internationell handel och känner dig bekväm med att använda Excel. Du har erfarenhet av affärssystem, gärna Monitor. Flytande kunskaper i svenska och engelska samt B-körkort är viktigt för att lyckas i rollen.

Job Description
You will be part of the Customs team within Supply Chain Development Execution, which today consists of 18 co-workers. Today’s solutions are a mix of home built and standard solutions. Many of current solutions will be replaced by a standard solution through global customs platform projects.
Customs is a dynamic area with high business impact. IKEA must be compliant with legal restrictions and regulations for goods to flow smoothly across borders keeping our customers all around the world happy.
Customs domain is undertaking a major transformation journey by implementation of a standard solution globally. The transformation journey will take several years to complete.
Customs team within Execution plays an important role for making this happen. They are experts in the systems connected to customs and work with developing new solutions as well as securing the running business.
You will be one of the core competences within Solution Management working close together with Solution Owners, Solution Architects, Test Lead and business stakeholders developing the business solutions.
As Business Analyst will you mainly be:
Responsible for clarifying business needs, requirement management and solution evaluation
Identify potential improvements: to elicit, analyze, challenge, and document all business needs
Setup a business analysis approach and plan, to support the selected business development activities (initiatives and releases)
Identify the business consequences and risks with solution alternatives for process, organization, tools and information
Assure quality and traceability of stakeholder needs and business requirements, and support the evaluation of solution alternatives

Qualifications
Good knowledge of the relevant business context, IKEA strategies, processes and dependencies
Extensive knowledge and experience in business analysis and modelling, requirement management and processes
Basic knowledge of configuration management and validation, including test methods and tools
Understanding of different delivery methods and software lifecycle management
Understanding of IKEA application landscape and the technology & architectural aspects of the solutions as well as implemented functionality
Up to date with market trends and best practice within Business Analysis
Ability to address challenges creatively and pragmatically, working with the big picture and in the small details

Vi söker dig med en eftergymnasial utbildning inom ekonomi, gärna inriktning civilekonom. Du har ett par års erfarenhet av liknande arbetsuppgifter och en god förståelse för en controllerfunktion. Du är en mycket kunnig användare av Excel och har en väldigt god systemvana. Det är meriterande om du har erfarenhet av BI och CRM. Du har en god förmåga att uttrycka dig på svenska och engelska i både tal och skrift.

As a Business Controller you support the daily operations of the Finance department. You implement business controls and support decision-makers in IMC's functional teams with analysis, reporting and follow-ups, including identifying business improvement potentials, sharing best practices, communicating and presenting performance analysis. You are part of the Business Navigation & Finance team and report to the Business Navigation & Finance Manager for IMC (IKEA Marketing & Communication)

Some of the daily tasks of the department is controlling and operations and implement and improve controlling procedures that will safeguard compliance. You will analyze and create insights to follow-up business results across different areas and contribute to the development of working methods and tools. You will be an active business partner towards functional teams by giving proactive support.

For you to be successful in the job as Business Controller, we think it is important that you have strong analytical skills, having both a holistic view and an eye for detail, and the curiosity to find more efficient and effective ways of working. You are goal oriented with the ability to implement, deliver results and follow up and highly organized and can work independently but also enjoy working and solving problems as part of a team.

Furthermore, you have strong communication skills; being able to explain in a simple way for non-financial people and, as English is our corporate language, the ability to express yourself in English is a prerequisite, both in written and verbal. A solid background and knowledge in Business or Finance Controlling from working in a business and/or a financial role is preferred and a university degree in finance, business administration, economics or similar.
