Job Description
The job as Range Manager puts you right in the center of our business by setting the global and local menu for the food in all our meeting points by developing the best products.
You are responsible to build a complete and coordinated, relevant and commercial product offer which has IKEA unique identity that enables a better experience in the customer meeting points.
You lead the range function and have managerial responsibility and work closely with our development teams; supporting, challenging and coaching in product development.
You are a part of the Range area Food service Management team and the extended Inter IKEA Group Food steering team, and by that you also have a joint responsibility for the full IKEA Food business.

We are looking for you who is ready to take the commercial responsibility for business and people. As Commercial Manager you, together with your team, ensure that the product range lives up to IKEA vision through range presentation and range and product communication. Job Description
Right now the newly established Marketing & Communication Planning team is looking for a Creative Planner. This means that you need to have both motivation and ability to influence and develop the way we are working.
The Marketing & Communication Planning team sets the pre-conditions and plan the marketing and communication delivery and IMC offer, help lead the communication development agenda to always be ready for the needs of tomorrow. As a Creative Planner you will:
Analyze research, insights and business input and turn it into key issues and findings that can strengthen the creative brief that will help to create distinctive communication.
Access and secure the pipeline for getting research & data. Interact with the Business Intelligence team to feedback and secure the needs from a communication development perspective.
Contribute to writing and strengthening creative briefs with insights and big thinking.
Work closely with the Assignment Leaders and Creative teams to ensure the work is on-brief.
Support Communication Developers in new requests by meeting with business partners and translate/scope needs into suggested communication projects.
Running creative and/or explorative sessions.
Be the voice and champion of the consumers while having a thorough understanding of IKEA strategies.
Develop and maintain close collaboration and relations with our Interior Designers as experts in life at home.

Qualifications

People who confidently share findings, insights, and conclusions, are decisive, structured, and results oriented.

You'll need:
Education and experience in Marketing & Communications, Strategic Communication, or equivalent.

We are looking for Commercial Managers who are ready to take the commercial responsibility for one of the new Range Areas. As Commercial Manager you are accountable for maximizing growth opportunities through Sales, Range and Product Communication in the Range Area. You will collaborate across Range Areas and the Retail markets to secure growth, profitability, and a relevant commercial offer. Through the range you secure a strong IKEA brand over time, that inspires even more of the many people to create a better life at home.
You will report to the Range Area Manager and be a member of the Range Area Management team. You will be responsible for leading and developing the Commercial function including recruitments, development, performance management, retention and succession plans for co-workers in the team.
We are looking for stubborn enthusiasts, making IKEA relevant for the many through lowest price and best value for money. As Commercial Manager you ensure that the product range lives up to IKEA vision through range presentation and range and product communication. Commercial experience from leading the business, sales or marketing agenda from a country or HFB dimension or from comparable strategic position

Experience in working on a strategic level, translating long-term priorities into clearly and inspiring defined business objectives and steering all involved people towards achieving results
Understanding of the IKEA product development process and the meeting with the customer in an Omnichannel environment

The position is a highly strategic where you together Strategy & Plan manager and colleagues within the Strategy and Plan team, are responsible to lead the overall communication plan for IKEA common content. The team sets the Range & Communication strategy (together with our friends in range and product development), the strategic initiatives as well as the common drivers and platform to develop and execute marketing and communication. You play a key role in the IKEA network to agree on the global communication plan as an integrated part of IKEA business plan as well as the overall planning for Marketing & Communication deliverables. Together with the team, you lead the process to agree on priorities and support with content management securing commerciality and consistency for an impactful content with key partners in IKEA network. It is not only about the defining, developing and deliver the strategy and plan – the team also run several cross organisation assignments for certain topics – in other words – it is as much about creating pre-conditions for developing the content. The Strategy & Plan team secures and manages an effective, efficient and agile portfolio supporting the business ambitions for a consistent M&C approach and execution for the IKEA priorities across units.
