Job Overview: As Product Requirement Engineer – compliance you will be working to identify and secure compliance-based requirements for Appliances within the IKEA range. You will also be responsible for the overall compliance verifications and deliver required legal information to the development teams to prepare and maintain the Range Area guidelines during development – and on Running range.
Your Responsibilities:
Analyse legal and market specific requirements received for our products.
To create additional processes and Guidelines needed to secure legal compliance during development phase for IKEA appliances.
Being part of PRIO group for appliances where new and old Compliance information will be analyzed.
Interact with PRS (Product Requirement Specialist), Local PR&C:s and other relevant stakeholders, to obtain and secure relevant, required compliance solutions for IKEA Appliances to support Development Teams.
Capture learnings and actively share knowledge connected to Legal requirements
Identify compliance gaps in product documentation and give input to action plan.
Being active part of long term compliance development and strategies



Qualifications:
University Degree in Engineering.
Several years of experience in product development or creating and documenting legal and market product requirements.
Proven ability to lead initiatives and drive them from inception to completion within a given scope.
Strong analytical skills and a passion for detail.
Excellent skills in coordination, leadership, and inspiring others.
Eager to share knowledge and able to simplify complex legislations.

In this role, as Product Owner for Smart Energy value stream in BA IKEA Home smart, you will lead the range and product development work of creating solutions around smart energy and secure improvements on the existing energy range. Job Description
We are looking for you who love delivering fast HFA products, coordinated across HFBs, reacting to current and future trends (colour, material etc), who have deep insights into the needs and dreams of our customers in their life at home and know how to lead design process through an entrepreneurial approach. As a Product Design Developer at IKEA of Sweden you bring product ideas to life through attention to all dimensions of the IKEA Democratic Design process – form, function, sustainability, low price and quality.


As a Product Design Developer you will be part of engaging the full capabilities of the value chain to deliver democratic design products with unique IKEA identity and commerciality to create a better everyday life for the many people. You will work together with a multifunctional team of experts in innovation and design, engineering, sourcing, supply marketing and communication and sales. Together, you co-create the final home furnishing offer through a holistic and customer centric approach according to the IKEA Democratic Design principles and the IKEA identity.


As a Product Design Developer for Children’s and Lighting, you are responsible for:
Design development of better products delivering to all 5 dimensions of Democratic design being the specialist in form and function always starting with the price tag
Content of the product development project with both vision and action
Securing IKEA unique identity and Democratic Design in each and every product
Transforming knowledge in life at home to insights into actions on product level
Co-creating with development partners throughout total value chain
To when applicable use existing platforms, shared solutions, standard colours and materials to design for lowest price
To feed in to development of platforms, shared solutions, standard colours and materials
Identify and enable stories of the product design development to be used in communication
To contribute in creating a high performing project team
To contribute to creating the Range and Product plan

In order to be successful you need to work closely with your team members and be capable of visualizing ideas and concepts in a simple, clear and inspirational way to bring people on board in the product development process. You will work in close collaboration with other project teams within the business area.


Qualifications
A Product Design Developer is someone who has a genuine interest in developing products; someone who has the ability to see things from a customer’s perspective and conceptualize things that don’t exist. In order to be successful in the job as a Product Design Developer, we expect you to have a university degree in a design discipline or product development or equivalent knowledge and several years of experience in working with product development.


A Product Design Developer is someone who is innovative, curious and likes to challenge the existing. Someone with the ability to work with conceptual ideas, who is able to turn these into final solutions and to lead the content of the project from start to end.


You are curious with an eye for design and get motivated by finding new ways of working. You are energetic, driven and determined, enjoy working closely with people, at a fast pace and have great communication skills.
