Du kommer att ansvara för att boka och koordinera transporter, hålla koll på tidtabeller och se till att allt går enligt plan.

Vi letar efter dig som är en mästare på att jonglera olika leveranser och har ett öga för detaljer. Du är van vid att hantera administrativa uppgifter och trivs i en roll där du får vara den som ser till att allt kommer fram i tid. Med din noggrannhet och förmåga att hålla koll på detaljer kommer du att vara den som ser till att transporterna når fram med stil.

ABOUT THE ROLE.
As a Transport Planner, you will work in close cooperation with your team of 14 people but also with carriers and other stakeholders in the supply chain to find the optimal transport solution.

Your main focus will be to:
•Book optimal transport solutions and work with rebookings and cancellations
•Plan & follow up the shipments to secure availability for the customers and secure proactive communication with stakeholders, particularly in case of delayed and/or changed deliveries
•Work in close cooperation with internal and external stakeholders (e.g. carriers, suppliers) to solve operational deviations and search for solutions to avoid them in the future
Please note that this is a temporary position starting as soon as possible and go on for approximately 5 months. The position is placed in Älmhult, Sweden.

• Secure total logistical operational performance from end-to-end perspective by booking optimal transport solutions under the consideration of IKEA supply chain stakeholder preconditions.

Transport & logistics provides competence in the area of customs and transport to each individual IKEA unit worldwide when building a new store/warehouse, rebuilding or daily sales. 

In your role as Logistic Operations Coordinator, you will work with transport administration. You will book, plan and coordinate deliveries to our stores and warehouses globally. You will handle all types of transport documents, such as customs documents and invoicing you will also be responsible for communication with suppliers, transport companies and users on transport related matters. One of the responsibilities in this role will also be planning in and outbound flows from the warehouse.

Supply Chain Operations (SCO) is a global organisation in IKEA Supply.  We are looking for a Service Provider Operations Developer in Category Area Transport in Älmhult that will be part of delivering excellent performance now and over time and developing the future of transportation in Category Land. With automation, standardisation and digitalisation in mind we aim for much stronger and advanced partners, able not only to move goods from point A to B but also contribute to IKEA development agenda. With your creativity, persuasive communication, analytical mind we believe you can be part of delivering the best result for IKEA customers.
 
Your main assignments as Service Provider Operations Developer are:
• Secure service provider's operational performance in all aspects.
• Together with service providers and internal supply chain stakeholders secure optimal usage of agreed/available transport capacity vs planned/needed capacity. 
• Active work with capacity forecasting (mid- and short-term) to secure capacity for peaks, volume fluctuations, etc. Likewise, together with supply chain stakeholders, find optimal solutions at lowest total cost.
• Support Business Developer with Tender/other procurement activity's preparation and implementation.
• Secure and share needed industry competence with all relevant functions.
• Monitor and secure execution of signed contracts vs. agreed terms & conditions. Perform compliance/spot checks at service providers to verify compliance with given parameters, such as quality of equipment, safety and security, etc.
• "Ad hoc" purchasing activities. Within the mandate given, contribute to securing capacity in unforeseen situations.

Det här är ett konsultuppdrag på 100% som varar i ca 10 - 12 månader med goda möjligheter till förlängning. Du kommer att vara anställd av Experis/Manpower men arbeta hos vår uppdragsgivare.

Du ska kunna starta uppdraget omgående, d v s ingen uppsägningstid!

Du kommer framförallt att planera och boka transporter. Både från lager till kund men också från leverantör till lager.

Detta ska göras i rätt tid och man ansvarar också för att åtgärda eventuella problem som uppstår.



Vem är du?

-Vi tror att du är en Junior Administratör/Logistiker som har något/några års arbetslivserfarenhet och vill utvecklas vidare i rollen.

Du är lösningsorienterad och duktig på att kommunicera genom olika kanaler

* Meriterande är om du har erfarenhet av transportsektorn
* Flytande på engelska och svenska, både muntligt och skriftligt är ett krav
* Har en passion för service och ge alltid bästa möjliga stöd
* Har starka administrativa färdigheter med intresse för nya digitala lösningar.
