Du kommer att vara ansvarig för att boka och koordinera transporter samt övervaka transporter och försäkra dig om att allt är enligt planen.

Din profil



Vi söker dig som är skicklig på att hantera flera leveranser samtidigt och som har sinne för detaljer. Du är van vid administrativa uppgifter och trivs i en position där du ser till att allt levereras i tid. Med din precision och förmåga att uppmärksamma detaljer kommer du att säkerställa att transporterna genomförs på ett korrekt sätt.

Är du personen som trivs med att ha full kontroll över processer, tycker om administrativt arbete och brinner för att allt ska fungera som det ska, då kan det vara dig vi söker.

Dina erfarenheter:

* Erfaren som transportbokare med förmåga att utföra komplexa administrativa arbetsuppgifter
* Goda erfarenheter inom logistik med en skarp blick för detaljer

Job Description
These are some of the day-to-day tasks as a Transport Planner:
Book optimal transport solutions and follow up the shipments to secure availability for our customers
Reschedule and/or cancel shipments in case of logistical deviations
Follow up operational deviations and address the need of solutions to avoid them in the future
Cooperate with internal and external stakeholders
Actively contribute to development of our processes, systems and working methods

We want to make sure that our products will be available for our customers when needed, that is where we need your help! As a Transport Planner you will work in a great team, where you in your daily work will both work independently and cooperate with your colleagues. You will also work closely both internal and external stakeholders such as our different suppliers, Distribution center, CDC and carriers.

We have two open positions for this role (1 permanent and 1 for 12 months), with the profile as you see below.

Your tasks in the role:
• Secure service provider's operational performance in all aspects.
• Together with service providers and internal supply chain stakeholders secure optimal usage of agreed/available transport capacity vs planned/needed capacity. 
• Active work with forecast analysis (mid- and short-term) to secure capacity for peaks, volume fluctuations, etc. Likewise, together with supply chain stakeholders, find optimal solutions at lowest total cost.
• Support Business Developer with Tender/other procurement activities’ preparation and implementation.
• Secure and share needed industry competence with all relevant functions.
• Monitor and secure execution of signed contracts vs. agreed terms & conditions. Perform compliance/spot checks at service providers to verify compliance with given parameters, such as quality of equipment, safety and security, etc.
• "Ad hoc" purchasing activities. Within the mandate given, contribute to securing capacity in unforeseen situations.
We need your ability to build relations and to work with different stakeholders in a trustful way, your creativity to find and implement optimal, sustainable solutions, while acting as an IKEA ambassador in all situations. 

Qualifications
For you to be successful in the role we believe that you need: 
• University degree in Logistics, Economics, Business Administration or relevant few years working experience
• Good knowledge of the transport industry incl. market-specific transport safety, security and quality standards
• Understanding how Supply Chain, transport planning and different set ups work
• Good knowledge of production costs and the main key drivers
• Analytical skills, ability to build and evaluate fact-based business cases

• Secure minimum EQU in our trucks together with Senders.

Transport & logistics provides competence in the area of customs and transport to each individual IKEA unit worldwide when building a new store/warehouse, rebuilding or daily sales. 

In your role as Logistic Operations Coordinator, you will work with transport administration. You will book, plan and coordinate deliveries to our stores and warehouses globally. You will handle all types of transport documents, such as customs documents and invoicing you will also be responsible for communication with suppliers, transport companies and users on transport related matters. One of the responsibilities in this role will also be planning in and outbound flows from the warehouse.

Your main assignments as Service Provider Operations Developer are:
• Secure service provider's operational performance in all aspects.
• Together with service providers and internal supply chain stakeholders secure optimal usage of agreed/available transport capacity vs planned/needed capacity. 
• Active work with capacity forecasting (mid- and short-term) to secure capacity for peaks, volume fluctuations, etc. Likewise, together with supply chain stakeholders, find optimal solutions at lowest total cost.
• Support Business Developer with Tender/other procurement activity's preparation and implementation.
• Secure and share needed industry competence with all relevant functions.
• Monitor and secure execution of signed contracts vs. agreed terms & conditions. Perform compliance/spot checks at service providers to verify compliance with given parameters, such as quality of equipment, safety and security, etc.
• "Ad hoc" purchasing activities. Within the mandate given, contribute to securing capacity in unforeseen situations.
