We’re strengthening our communication team with two communication specialists who can plan, align and execute impactful communication to keep co-workers and stakeholders inspired and engaged in what we do in IKEA Supply. IKEA Supply is responsible to source, manufacture and distribute IKEA products to the IKEA retailers. Our various business units are leading an exciting development agenda with everything from digitalization and automation of our supply chain to responsible sourcing and our climate agenda (we want to be climate positive by 2030). The overall communication assignment is to lead, develop and enable impactful communication that delivers to making IKEA even more affordable, accessible and sustainable and contribute to strengthening IKEA as a meaningful and trusted brand in people’s hearts and minds. The global communication team holds together the strategic communication agenda for IKEA Supply, leads common topics and activities and coordinates and supports initiatives across the business. We also have a matrix responsibility for the communication community, enabling competence development and best practice. A big part of our assignment is to build understanding of IKEA Supply, our strategic agenda and contribution to building trust in IKEA. Job Description
As Communication Specialist you support your stakeholders with strategic and tactical communication that supports our business and people goals. You’ll ensure our strategic messages reach the target audiences, through our channel landscape, packaged in an engaging and inspiring way. You drive an open and sharing climate, you lead rooted in the IKEA values and you have a passion for keeping co-workers informed, engaged and empowered. This role will have its primary focus on working with the common communication agenda across IKEA Supply, developing our ways to reach and interact with our many co-workers and stakeholders.
Plan, develop and execute communication activities that create engagement with our target groups and help position the IKEA Brand
To co-create, execute and follow up communication projects to support the development of the business and to drive business priorities
Maintain and develop our communication channel landscape and connected ways of working to support the everchanging needs of the business and target groups
Help keep all parts of the IKEA Supply organization up to date on key business initiatives and priorities
Provide, maintain and develop communication solutions within the areas of the digital channel landscape, editorials and news, internal campaigns, graphic design and video production according to the business need
Be a visual, verbal and written communication expert, coaching and supporting stakeholders and colleagues in planning, developing and delivering impactful communication
Contribute and deliver to cross-functional assignments prioritised in the matrix/common initiatives
Create a communicative culture and help our leaders and co-workers to lead with communication

Experience in leading communication and/or project & production management in a complex environment within IKEA
Documented know-how in using graphics and words to create an impactful message
Know-how to work across a varied channel landscape
Experience in corporate communication activities planning and execution, as well as content development
A knack for team work and building relationships in a diverse and global workplace
Ability to simplify and organise complex issues
Good knowledge of and interest in digital tools and media
Very strong English skills, both written & spoken
Proficiency in using creative tools such as photoshop, In design, Adobe Cloud or similar is a merit
