Job Description
As Team Manager Supply Chain you will report to the Supply Chain manager and together with him, be responsible for leading and developing the function including recruitments, development, performance management, retention, and succession plans for co-workers in the team. You will, together with Supply Chain manager, lead the Demand Planning and Sourcing function and lead the sourcing and supply agenda from a Range Area perspective through close collaboration with key supply stakeholders.


Together with your Functional Manager you will define your business scope and how you together can create the best pre-conditions for your team to succeed.

Job Description


Your assignment in the Range Area will be to lead and develop the Demand Planning and Sourcing function. You will lead the sourcing and supply agenda from a Range Area perspective through close collaboration with key supply stakeholders.
Together with Range Area management team, you will lead the creation of the HFB plan through a collaboration across teams both internally and externally. You will secure that opportunities and limitations from a supply chain perspective are integrated in the Range plan and that improves and cost out agendas are reflected in the portfolio.
You will get the opportunity to work with many materials, categories and stakeholders. You will be responsible for the alignment and overview of the supply chain activities, such as deployment of platforms, material and sustainability agendas e.g. ensuring that ‘Material direction’ is being deployed in the Range Area. You will from a Range Area perspective establish long term agreed actions with relevant Supply chain stakeholders.
You will be part or the Range Area Children´s management team, and report to Range Area manager Maria Törn.
This is a permanent role based in Älmhult. We believe that your presence with the team and working majority of the time in the workplace is important.

Job Description
Flow Replenishment Manager secure excellence in total Supply Chain performance, and its further development, by centrally securing an optimal replenishment solution, optimization of all flows in close cooperation and alignment with all relevant supply chain stakeholders; contributing to reaching customer perceived availability at the lowest total supply cost (considering impacts of quality, safety, service performance, sustainability, and other supply chain costs). Leading the Flow replenishment Developers team to define, analyze and review optimized replenishment solutions from a global perspective as well as to lead expansion projects and sub regional changes in collaboration with all IKEA supply chain stakeholders.
Securing the resources and developing competence in Flow Replenishment Developers team
Leading a Competence Center for Flow Replenishment and securing the right expertise, mindset and competences.
Stakeholders management: in collaboration with Category Areas, securing optimized replenishment & delivery solutions from an end-to-end perspective, total costs and logistical performance. Being speaking partner for Supply chain planning and representing Flow replenishment dev in DORS related forums.

Being responsible for below defined KPIs and follow-up with the team of FRDs defined KPIs and PIs and act in case of deviations.
Taking responsibility in Global Project assignments and participation in meetings on behalf of the Global Supply Chain Planning.

Job Description
As a Category Logistics Leader, you will be part of the Category Management team and lead the global Category Logistics agenda for the Protein based category. You will be reporting to the Category Area Logistics Manager so, together and within the Purchasing Development Logistics Matrix, you will address the logistics and functional competence agenda for the total Category Area Food. You will contribute by driving the logistics development work, with focus to secure execution in line with Category plans. A same important area of responsibility is to develop the Supply Planning competence within the Category. About the assignment:
Define the Category Logistics Agenda together with your Category Management Team and Category Area Logistics Manager, based on the CA Logistics Direction & Priorities. You will lead its execution through the business development teams.
Execute the Logistics Action Plan for the Category in cooperation with the Category Management Team and the Category Area Logistics Manager.
Lead Supplier logistics development activities. You will do that by either leading resource allocation for agreed Supplier logistics development projects or directly lead strategic supplier logistics development projects when needed.

Qualifications

The Regional Customs and Compliance Manager for Europe and Africa is an important position within the Customs organization with the responsibility to secure the import and export processes are anchored with excellence in operations and to facilitate a culture of compliance within the countries assigned to the region of Europe and Africa. The position is responsible to align the regional organization and operations with the changing needs of the business and global customs action plans, which closely aligns with the IKEA vision, strategies and directives.   

The Regional Customs and Compliance Manager is responsible for development, implementation and management of regional and local strategic partnerships both internally and externally. They will establish the vision and strategies for the Europe and Africa countries assigned to the region in conjunction with global strategies. They should be able to provide leadership for transformation, projects and setting an environment within the region that enables change to support the import and export operations now, while securing the future. The Regional Customs and Compliance Manager will be responsible to secure all import and export declarations are made in compliance with local requirements and regulations as well as with internal controls.  They will support local audits with authorities in countries assigned to the region as well as perform self-review/internal audit to identify potential areas of non-compliance and the need for continual improvements.

This position will be responsible for the development and maintenance of the regional budget for Customs activities. They will also issue regional and local key performance indicators (KPI) designed to manage the business, secure competence and development, as well as enable change.

To secure operational excellence and compliance to customs rules and regulations within the countries of their assigned region. This includes having processes that actively monitor for, take action upon deviations and the pursuit of activities that identify and correct systemic or operational conditions the deviations are a consequence of.
Actively identify and manage risk related to Customs operations and compliance. 
Create and maintain the internal framework for import and export operations at the regional and local levels that align with and contribute to the global frameworks. Benchmark customs and compliance processes with other IKEA regional customs organizations to secure best practices and standardization   
Train and educate co-workers, colleagues and key stakeholders on customs regulations for countries within assigned region. Continually review current ways of working in order to develop and maintain optimal setup and processes for import and export operations and compliance within the region and assigned countries to the region.
Secure the regional budget and forecasts in accordance with identified needs and continual process improvements
Develop and maintain the necessary KPI’s to support ISAG global action plans, business direction, decision. KIPs should also monitor and secure local and regional action plans, business objectives, co-worker competence and external service provider competence 
Plan, organize and manage external customs audits in conjunction with ISAG customs management.
Provide leadership by driving the business planning process for import, export and compliance initiates and. Secure follow through on initiatives.

Your main assignments as Supply Operations Development Manager are to:

·         Lead and manage the team to secure total logistical operational performance from end-to-end perspective as it is defined by respective set of KPIs and PIs within given geographical scope. Act on deviation on volume and article dimension together with the team.

·         Coach and develop Supply Operations Developers and secure the right headcount and competence of people in the team. Responsible to build a diverse team with different competences. Speaking partner for Flow Replenishment and Performance Developers 

·         Lead in a way that IKEA culture and values become and everyday reality

·         Represent Supply Operations to secure and develop optimum logistical operational performance in collaboration with IKEA supply chain stakeholders, as well as create preconditions for smooth and efficient deliveries.

·         Support the Supply Operations Manager in Market Operations Forum. Proactively search for improvement potentials in mutual cooperation, contribute to create understanding within supply chain regarding mutual expectations, needs and preconditions with total cost in mind. Lead Emergency Group Teams on behalf of the Supply Operations Manager.

·         Be responsible for the implementation and evaluation of new routes and follow-up the performance in collaboration with all concerned supply chain stakeholders.

·         Secure the execution of market-relevant plans. Responsible for the execution of Manage Supply Imbalance Process (e.g. confirmation of capacity) in collaboration with IKEA supply chain stakeholders. Support the team to identify and define constraints as well as secure the right action plans for continuous improvement.

·         Support the Supply Operations Manager in the preparation of the Market Operations Forums and stakeholder meetings. Take the lead in meeting Purchasing Development and CFF

·         Support continuous improvement of internal working methods. Secure compliance in the team and performs regular spot checks within the supply chain

Based on the current Warehousing Logistics (WLOG) Organisation and LOGEVO we want to further build a  strong Intralogistics organisation to establish, lead, support and develop logistics solutions for the various IKEA units that have a logistical and fulfilment component, including the development and innovation agenda of intralogistics at IKEA global. In practical terms, Intralogistics shall lead and educate in creating concepts, processes and solutions for IKEA Handling and Storage as well as to act as centre of expertise for all establishments of logistics units around the globe. The organisation is in strong lead towards a more mechanical and automated goods handling.

By leading the global Intralogistics organisation you secure competent and high performing leaders who inspire and empower co-workers to perform to the best of their abilities and continuously develop in their assignments. As part of the Intralogistics team you contribute to the innovation agenda and fulfilment of Logistic Development tasks across IKEA Supply Chain. Moreover, you develop, implement and follow up action plan for the unit, delivering excellent results in supporting intralogistics projects and professional long term concept development for all IKEA franchisees.

This role will be a combination of the role as deputy intralogistics manager and business & product development manager. As deputy intralogistics manager/business & product development manager you will, among other tasks:
Be responsible for driving leadership and competence agenda: identify needs and gaps, and build leadership and competence plans to meet the short and long term business needs.
Responsible to secure the business, the development and maintenance of products.
Responsible to secure the movement from innovation projects to product development and secure the readiness of future technologies and solutions
Responsible for business and product development, building relationships with service requestors
Market Intralogistics services, solutions and capabilities.
Be accountable for the execution of the projects / tasks delivered by your department.
Represent Intralogistics in project steering groups
Responsible to ensure that products are developed according "design for total cost" to optimize the value chain
Be responsible for securing a concise information/communication flow from Business & Product development and Intralogistics and to the many stakeholders.
Develop and lead the implementation of the Business & Product development action plan and contribute to the Intralogistics and SCD assignment across IKEA.
About you

To succeed in this role, we believe you have:
Senior managerial and leadership experience, preferably gained in IKEA supply chain and based on the IKEA key values.
A passion for Intralogistics and a strong knowledge and understanding of the IKEA processes, organizations and supply chain.
Experience in intralogistics material flow systems, processes and related IT solutions.
The desire and capability to be a great communicator and by this build trust and relationships to handle multiple stakeholders in a global environment.
Experience in project management as well as in vendor and contract management.
Capability to perform business analysis, risk assessment, scenario planning and draw fast conclusions to support the right business decisions and implementations.
Capability to represent IKEA towards external suppliers and to be an IKEA ambassador in everything you do.
