Job Description


Your assignment in the Range Area will be to lead and develop the Demand Planning and Sourcing function. You will lead the sourcing and supply agenda from a Range Area perspective through close collaboration with key supply stakeholders.
Together with Range Area management team, you will lead the creation of the HFB plan through a collaboration across teams both internally and externally. You will secure that opportunities and limitations from a supply chain perspective are integrated in the Range plan and that improves and cost out agendas are reflected in the portfolio.
You will get the opportunity to work with many materials, categories and stakeholders. You will be responsible for the alignment and overview of the supply chain activities, such as deployment of platforms, material and sustainability agendas e.g. ensuring that ‘Material direction’ is being deployed in the Range Area. You will from a Range Area perspective establish long term agreed actions with relevant Supply chain stakeholders.
You will be part or the Range Area Children´s management team, and report to Range Area manager Maria Törn.
This is a permanent role based in Älmhult. We believe that your presence with the team and working majority of the time in the workplace is important.

Job Description
As Category Area Logistics Manager you work with securing the supplier capacity planning process and delivery capabilities. You are responsible for the logistic cost out and digital developments needed to ensure the above. In close cooperation with the Category Management Team, you will contribute to the development and implementation of Category Plans, setting logistics priorities and building alignment with other partners in the supply chain to develop the value chain. You work together with Category Managers and business development teams in your area of responsibility, you support them in developing and implementing the actions plans that have been agreed with suppliers. You will be a member of Category Area Management team. In this role you will report to Category Area Manager Maria Blixt.
You are the manager of the Category Logistic Leaders.
More in detail the assignment consists of:
Responsibility for the Supplier Capacity process in the Category Area and responsible to develop and secure ways of working for capacity planning in operational and tactical horizon.
Lead, contribute and/or coordinate Supplier total logistics development activities
Managing and Leading the team of Category Logistics Leaders.
Overall Matrix responsibility for the competence agenda of the Supply planners. This means support in building competence plans to meet both short- and long-term business goals and to coach and mentor co-workers in this position.
Contribute to the total value chain development by leading logistics development initiatives, being an active part of designing and optimizing the supply chain networks for the respective categories.
Represent Purchase Development Logistics matrix in diverse global initiatives initiated by Supply Chain stakeholders.
Be a part of creation of the PD logistics direction and logistics priorities. Be the owner and leader of one of them
Ensure close cooperation between logistics matrix and other SC stakeholers, e.q. SCO functions for delivering towards common goals and priorities related to both business and people

Qualifications
With solid knowledge and experience of roles in the field of logistics in a global organization, you have a strong capability to identify and act on supplier and supply chain development opportunities and to deliver results. You are experienced of combining work on strategic, tactical and operational level and leading work towards common goals through cooperation with various stakeholders. You know that key to success is to have motivated and competent people on-board. You have in your current and previous positions proven your ability in leading and developing both business and people. Your main assignments as Supply Operations Development Manager are to:
Lead and manage the team to secure total logistical operational performance from end-to-end perspective as it is defined by respective set of KPIs and PIs within given geographical scope. Act on deviation on volume and article dimension together with the team.
Coach and develop Supply Operations Developers and secure the right headcount and competence of people in the team. Responsible to build a diverse team with different competences. Speaking partner for Flow Replenishment and Performance Developers
Lead in a way that IKEA culture and values become and everyday reality
Represent Supply Operations to secure and develop optimum logistical operational performance in collaboration with IKEA supply chain stakeholders, as well as create preconditions for smooth and efficient deliveries.
Support the Supply Operations Manager in Market Operations Forum. Proactively search for improvement potentials in mutual cooperation, contribute to create understanding within supply chain regarding mutual expectations, needs and preconditions with total cost in mind. Lead Emergency Group Teams on behalf of the Supply Operations Manager.
Be responsible for the implementation and evaluation of new routes and follow-up the performance in collaboration with all concerned supply chain stakeholders.
Secure the execution of market-relevant plans. Responsible for the execution of Manage Supply Imbalance Process (e.g. confirmation of capacity) in collaboration with IKEA supply chain stakeholders. Support the team to identify and define constraints as well as secure the right action plans for continuous improvement.
Support the Supply Operations Manager in the preparation of the Market Operations Forums and stakeholder meetings. Take the lead in meeting Purchasing Development and CFF

Qualifications

Job Description
As a Category Logistics Leader, you will be part of the Category Management team and lead the global Category Logistics agenda for the Protein based category. You will be reporting to the Category Area Logistics Manager so, together and within the Purchasing Development Logistics Matrix, you will address the logistics and functional competence agenda for the total Category Area Food. You will contribute by driving the logistics development work, with focus to secure execution in line with Category plans. A same important area of responsibility is to develop the Supply Planning competence within the Category. In a nutshell, you will have a strong focus on business and people development within the Category across the globe.
The position is located in Älmhult, Sweden but with a global responsibility.
About the assignment:
Define the Category Logistics Agenda together with your Category Management Team and Category Area Logistics Manager, based on the CA Logistics Direction & Priorities. You will lead its execution through the business development teams.
Execute the Logistics Action Plan for the Category in cooperation with the Category Management Team and the Category Area Logistics Manager.
Lead Supplier logistics development activities. You will do that by either leading resource allocation for agreed Supplier logistics development projects or directly lead strategic supplier logistics development projects when needed.
Contribute to the total value chain development by leading logistics development initiatives/projects, being active part of design and optimize supply chain networks for respective Category.
Be matrix responsible for Supply Planners in a specific Category, contributing to competence development and succession planning.
Secure and develop the logistics competence among all co-workers in the Category.
Contribute to the total category development, as part of the Management Team.
Contribute to alignment between category and other supply chain partners in areas of responsibility.

Qualifications
To be a successful Category Logistics Leader we would like you to have:
Proven record of consistently meeting/exceeding results in leading and developing both business and people (direct or indirect).
Proven experience in working with supplier development/business development.
Ability to combine working on a strategic level while acting on an operational/tactical level.
Good knowledge of supply chain cost drivers from raw material to customer
Solid logistics knowledge acquired by working in logistics roles in a global organization

Your main assignments as Supply Operations Development Manager are to:

Be responsible for the implementation and evaluation of new routes and follow-up the performance in collaboration with all concerned supply chain stakeholders.
Secure the execution of market-relevant plans. Responsible for the execution of Manage Supply Imbalance Process (e.g. confirmation of capacity) in collaboration with IKEA supply chain stakeholders. Support the team to identify and define constraints as well as secure the right action plans for continuous improvement.
Support the Supply Operations Manager in the preparation of the Market Operations Forums and stakeholder meetings. Take the lead in meeting Purchasing Development and CFF
Support continuous improvement of internal working methods. Secure compliance in the team and performs regular spot checks within the supply chain

As the Project leader for Sales Planning with Commercial Actions project, you will represent HFB Business Leader and Commercial Activity Leader roles in the development of new ways of working, digital tools and learning solutions for Sales Planning, bringing the specific retail experience and knowledge, inputs into the project.
You will contribute to developing ways of working, digital tools and learning solutions for the Sales Planning and Commercial Activity processes. You will also contribute to requirement handling, and with content to communication and change material. Qualifications

To be successful in this role, it is important tat you have the following capabilities and knowledge:
· Broad knowledge of IKEA concept, brand objectives, values and vision

About the assignment
