In Range Operations, we manage and lead the central Data & Analytics team, driving collaboration, technical excellence, and data-driven decision-making across Core Business Range and IKEA. Your new job
We’re looking for a Data Product Leader who wants to solve complex, real-world problems to make life at home simpler. Join us on our journey as we level up our technology to enhance everyday experiences. Your primary focus will be on establishing and managing data products and lifecycle processes to maximize their value for IKEA, and you’ll report to the Data & Analytics Manager. The impact of your work will touch homes and hearts around the world. On a typical day, you will:
Support the establishment of data products and a lifecycle process to maximize the connected value
Support initiatives in the Data space in order to maximize the value delivered
Manage data assets to maximize their value for IKEA
Drive continuous improvement, collaboration, and knowledge sharing of data products and their value
Ensure quality and consistency by supporting the use of relevant development techniques, digital frameworks, and best practices
Ensure that the insights and conclusions from data products are easily available to other parts of the organization
Support a culture of data-driven decision making across IKEA organizations
Work closely together with data scientists, data engineers, architects, analysts, peers, and other relevant roles across IKEA as well as in your team



What we’d like you to bring to the table
The role as a Data Product Leader requires you to have:
Extensive experience in Product Ownership /Management in a complicated landscape focusing on Data and Analytics
Taking ownership of data products and optimizing and managing a data landscape.
Experience in indirect leading and steering a product team focusing on Data and Analytics
Experience with deriving value from data by creating data assets, integrations, data as a service or improving data quality
Experience from modern development techniques such as Agile methodologies and DevOps
Strategic thinking and great data storyteller-skills
Good analytical skills combined with being structured and organised
Good interpersonal communication skills: active listning, coaching, and facilitating.


It’s a plus if you also have:
Experience in designing creative solutions to your colleague's data needs
Ability to determine large and small opportunities where data products (existing and not yet existing) could help the organization to better reach its goals and work in a more efficient way
Ability to naturally and effectively communicate, collaborate, network, and build relationships across a complex organization.

Qualifications

Lead the technical advance of the AI lab.

Your skills


You've got demonstrable skills in growing client intimacy directly and with business development teams to become a trusted advisor to a client. You have experience in sales; pre-sales or consulting within a particular market sector. You have a good understanding of Data & AI technologies and trends, and some knowledge of the Microsoft eco-system.


You have at least six years of experience in consulting/advisory with a strong focus on Data & AI technology implementation/transformation/strategy, and at least four years as a manager. You use your strong business acumen to inspire and develop teams, budgets and business targets.


Ideally, your experience includes:


- Experience in one or more industry sectors and understanding of the business drivers and requirements of the industry


- Direct senior client facing experience during data/Data Science/AI implementations from innovation to industrialisation


- Experience of advising and delivering data and AI projects eg data and analytics operating model design, data science, data governance, business case for data and analytics, or data trust and privacy


- Good understanding of the realities of data within large enterprises and the challenges they face in gaining benefit from it


- Good ability to translate business requirements and work with solution architects to translate into plausible technical solutions


- Knowledge and opinions of the challenges organisations face on their journey to the Modern Data Platform


- Good understanding of the different methodologies and delivery approaches such as DevOps, Agile and Kanban


- Good interpersonal skills with the ability to work with clients to establish requirements in non-technical language

Din rollVi söker dig som uppfyller följande skallkrav:

Har implementerat "breda" ERP-lösningar ett flertal gånger tidigare. Med "breda" ERP-lösningar avses affärssystem av en viss storlek (t.ex IFS Applications, Jeeves, M3, Dynamics AX) och där ett stort antal av kundens processer ska täckas in av och stödjas av affärssystemet.

Har representerat kundsidan ett flertal gånger i samband med "breda" ERP-implementationer. Det räcker således inte att ha med sig erfarenhet från leverantörssidan.

Är en "doer", dvs. inte endast en administrativ projektledare. Vi förutsätter att du är praktiskt lagd och kan tänka dig att "hoppa in" där det behövs för att stötta processägare och projektdeltagare.

Har erfarenhet av och stor förståelse för de samband som finns mellan processer, bas- och masterdata, tester etc. i en typisk "bred" ERP-implementation och kan därför ta dig an och sätta en logisk och heltäckande detaljplanering och uppföljning av projektet.

Kan vara på plats i Älmhult måndag - fredag varje vecka under projektets löptid (veckopendling är möjlig och bostad kan ordnas).

Du behärskar svenska och engelska i tal och skrift.

Utöver ovan skall-krav är det självklart meriterande om du har implementerat IFS Applications en eller ett flertal gånger.

Du är resultatdriven och en erfaren förändringsledare. Du är analytisk och lösningsorienterad samt har förmågan att balansera detta med att vara inlyssnande och ha en stor portion av ödmjukhet. Du har lätt för att knyta nya och utveckla befintliga kontakter samt komma med kreativa lösningar på utmaningar i en positiv och entusiastisk anda. Du är en god pedagog, kommunikativ samt skapar ett positivt arbetsklimat för dina kollegor i projektet och andra intressenter.

Vi ser att du är strukturerad, kan planera och organisera ditt och andras arbete samt är uthållig.

Du kommer att tillhöra och rapportera till Projektkontoret (IT PMO) på kundföretaget och självklart också till din beställareoch din styrgrupp. IT PMO består av en större grupp projektledare (anställda och konsulter). Projektkontoret och dess chef kommer att löpande finnas tillhands och stödja dig vad gäller processer, rutiner och kontaktpersoner.

Du utgår ifrån och är placerad hos vår kund i Älmhult. Resor kan komma att förekomma och kommer då primärt att omfatta kortare resor till t.ex. Jönköping och/eller Göteborg.

Du behöver vara på plats i Älmhult under veckorna. Möjlighet till bostadsarrangemang finns för eventuell veckopendling.
